are doves safe to eat during the summertime?

    If it's Dove hunting season in your area then yes, but make sure the doves don't have any pellets in the meat.

    Yes.I think most foul are good year round.

    I put a bar of Dove in my son's mouth whenever he curses to "wash it out" like that scene in A Christmas Story." He doesn't eat it, but he's only ever gotten mildly sick from it.

    Some animals aren't safe to eat in the warmer months due to worms and other parasites, is this true with doves during the warmer months?
