For the same reason that children aren't allowed to play with fire, the dangers are all too obvious.

At the risk of seeming to be a wowser, I wish we would stop making comments that equate homosexuality with paedophilia.

Bruce Heath is gay. There's nothing wrong with being gay. The comedy is the extent to which he denies it when (a) he has admitted it elsewhere and (b) in the western world it is no longer anything to be ashamed of.

Paedophilia is heinous and ruins people's lives. It is not a legitimate source of humour. People who engage in it, joke about it or turn a blind eye to it are beneath contempt. Hurting children is the worst thing you can do.

So please, let's not equate a slightly ridiculous old man with a low IQ and an attraction to men with the vile paedophile scum who should be fast tracked to a fiery eternity.

yet one more of the trolling questions that appear on an almost daily basis, by one of the small group of trolls. Who seem to have nothing better to do than make up stupid and untruthful stories about the person called Bruce Heath.

Same reason the Scouting Association always turned down his applications to be a Cub Pack Leader.
