What is wrong with my leg?

I'm a sprinter on a collegiate track team and I just noticed something weird. So, my left leg is always kind of stiff during warm ups and it kind of hurts when I do my whole warm up until I do a few build ups. After that it doesn't hurt. It's also prone to shin splints. My right leg is always healthy though. The other day I noticed when I put my hand on the shin of my right leg and draw circles with my foot, I feel normal but when I do it to my left leg I feel a lot of cracks and pops. It doesn't hurt though when I do that.
