Since Charles & Camilla will be the next King & Queen, the examination of their lives and their character to be expected?

Have the lives and character of previous heirs to the British throne also been examined and of interest?

That has already been done many times.

Camilla will legally be Queen, no matter what title she chooses to be using.

Yes, previous heirs' lives have been scrutinized. Edward VII, for example--because Victoria blamed him for the death of Prince Albert, she never allowed him to see a state paper. Result: people thought he was a lightweight and unable to rule. What happened? History records Edward as "The Peacemaker", the only one who could keep his nephew (Emperor Wilhelm II of Germany) under any sort of control. World War 1 would have started a good deal sooner without Edward.

Almost all of his life, and the majority of hers, since her initial relationship with The Prince is public knowledge already.

Why? I'd suggest that we in the UK have had past Kings (Queens?) who have had a rather dubious past, but have not undergone such an examination before coming to the Throne. Most of it is well documented already and would be rather pointless. And who would do the 'examination of their lives/character' in any case. God forbid it's anybody who contributes to this area!!!

Yes, but it was harder before the internet. There's a show on PBS right now that traces the life of Queen Victoria. One of things shown there is that someone in the palace leaked drawings showing the queen bathing her children and other domestic scenes. The public bought copies of the prints because they were interested in the lives of the Queen and Prince and their children. She was upset because she didn't want them seeing her as a mother rather than as a queen.

Of course, but their lives to date have been examined into the ground, backwards and forwards, sweetie. There's nothing new to be said about their pasts, unless new information and documentation turn up. Absent that, only the present and the future now matter.

Raking over the same old ground ad infinitum tells no one anything substantive or useful. Find something new to talk about, and then everyone should listen, certainly. But if you're merely playing the same old song, you're not telling anyone anything he or she doesn't already know, and you're boring the hell out of most people.

No, we do not care what they do, why should we? they have no power today, they just have to smile and wave.
