Is there any point with having a Monarchy, now that we have Ant and Dec, who do the same job but are cheaper to keep.?

And the whole country would be a much happier place to live in. If only Morecombe and wise were still alive , we could be more happy than the Swedish.

The monarchy pay us 100% of the profit from the Crown Estate and 25% of the profit from the Royal Duchies and we pay them the cost of running the royal firm. We currently make over £500 million a year surplus on the deal. Did you think Ant and Dec are prepared to pay us that much for the privilege?
