How do I stop being so jealous of this girl??

There's this girl at my school named Isabella and she is GORGEOUS! We are really good friends but I can't help but envy what she has. She is so pretty and she has perfectly clear skin. She has all these shoes that I want and she always wears the cutest outfits. Her hair is thick and beautiful and she's always happy and laughing and smiling. She is super athletic and popular. SHE HAS EVERYTHING!!!! I try not to be jealous of her but she's just too much. SHE IS PERFECT!!! Sometimes I feel like not being her friend anymore because she's way prettier than I am and it makes me mad. I hate that I feel like this. Oh yeah, and she's also insanely nice. What do I do with these jealous feelings and also keep our friendship? Help plz.

Have you ever told her, in kind of a joking way, how much you envy her? The fact that she's your friend is telling me that there's something about you that she likes....you might try to be nice like she is. I am sure there are other gals out there that feel inadequate and you could befriend. I would NOT end your friendship with this girl because it seems that it is a good one. we can't help being jealous sometimes. Maybe write out a letter to her telling her how jealous you are, and then rip it up and throw it away....
