I don't know enough about the alternative to having been born to make an informed decision. I certainly wish I hadn't been born to a woman who used me as a pawn to torment my father but perhaps there is some great purpose for my having survived all those 'accidents'.

No, I would not. A better question would be if your PARENTS had the option of you being who you are today or you never being born, what would Barb and Tim choose?
