Revenue Canada deposited $500.00 into my account this month. What is this for?

Is it a tax return or some sort of benefit that you applied for when you filed your tax return (such as a provincial rebate or an HST rebate)?

If you want to know for sure, you'll have to call and ask. Generally you receive a statement from the CRA for any deposits (though due to automatic deposit those mailed statement sometimes arrive after the deposit clears).

probably a mix-up, and when they discover the mix-up, they'll TAKE in back. happens .............................
