"just sex"? It's the prime directive of continuance of the human race. It's scripturaly mandated to go forth, and multiply, and inhabit the earth. Sex is a big deal for humanity, and should not be depreciated. Even the physicists and philosophers you mentioned are first human beings. Wait until you hit puberty, and your concepts of the importance of sex will mature.

From my experience of sex with intelligent people like scientists, they are far more imaginative and experimental than missionary-position Christians and far more fun in bed. Scientists also have sex at any time of the day or night because it is fun unlike the aforementioned Christians who restrict it to Sunday afternoons after church. They have kids because they want them and they do it with some rip-roaring sex.
