It's a ploy to lure you to it or by it so they can gobble you up!

In all of the thousands of times this supposed "joke" has been posted here, it has actually been funny exactly NO times.

They walk just like salamanders and lizards do, because their backbones are flexible from side to side. Mammals do not walk that way because mammalian backbones flex up and down. That is why a whale swim by beating its tail up and down, but a shark beats its tail from side to side.
Some gay men do try to walk like women, and women walk the way they do because they have wide pelvis. Wide pelvis evolved because of the need for easy child birth, since the human birth canal (because we walk on 2 legs) has a 90 degree bend so that women need a wider birth canal than apes to give birth to young.

The crocodiles have "splay" legs and not "under" legs.
They like to walk without dragging on the ground (which might cut them up).
Hence the odd-looking walk.
Be careful. A crocodile can burst-run a short distance almost as fast as you can, and they can and do use this to grab land-based prey.

Because they’re secretly homosexuals which is why they can come out onto land but they often hide underwater instead of the closet
