Joseph came from the line of david. Mary came from the line of I don't know. Jesus was born in a woman mary and conceived of the Holy Spirit. Josephs sperm seed was not put into mary so he was not the Father of Jesus. Therefore the Holy Spirit is the Father of Jesus and that it because it just says that Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in a woman called mary...lol
