I support people engaging in whatever legal activities make them happy. It doesn't bother me if a small fraction of the male population want to swear off women. It likewise doesn't bother me if a small fraction of the female population wants to protest peacefully in the streets in support of their own views. As long as everyone stays within the law they can do as they please (in my 'small L libertarian' opinion).

MGTOW and Feminism is liberating both men and women. But they are creating different paths for men and women. Women can't follow a man's path and men can't follow a woman's path. They all need to go on their own way. MGTOW and Feminism is making men and women independent of each other.

Personally, NTTM, I'm a feminist and I'm in favor of men who regard women with distrust and hostility choosing to never date or marry a woman. That's a win-win.

To such MGTOW, I say: Thanks for removing yourselves from the dating pool! Bye-bye! Keep going! 👋

“Defend the philosophical position that one can be both a supporter of MGTOW and a supporter of women's liberation.?”

One could say that MGTOW is men’s liberation to the same degree that women’s liberation is to women.

After all, liberation from one’s gender roles and responsibilities to society can be seen as a selfish act of individual entitlement. One that states they will no longer partake in the historical roles that worked to get us to the civilized society that we all benefit from today.

Feminists decided on behalf of women that they wanted to opt out. They thought they had a bad deal. Now MGTOW is doing the exact same thing. Only this time, there is quite the backlash. But why?

    Well
because society counts on men to uphold *their* roles while giving women a break on theirs. This is because while women’s roles upheld the family and a more refined society, men’s roles uphold civilization and a safe, operable society.

Feminists realize this, and understand that there cannot even be feminism as an existing ideology without men upholding their traditional gender roles to allow feminism to exist. This is why they try their hardest to shame MGTOW’s into “manning” up to their expected roles. But that doesn’t work, so feminists berate them as much as they can.

MGTOW’s that follow their ideology to the letter don’t care what anyone thinks. So they can support women’s liberation as well, if they choose to.

I think it just depends on what you mean by "women's liberation" Like do you mean liberated just as much as men? If so they already have that. MGTOW is not in opposition to women in any way, so your question doesn't make sense.

Well you could be a mgtow if you believe that men should be treated with dignity in the court system .. And at the same you could be a moral person ( as first wave feminists ) and as a result you support women's liberation in African nations .

Unfortunately "women's liberation " is also liked with diabolical things such as abortion , homosexual sex, promiscuity etc
