Is Canada a screwed up country or what?

Update:

Canada has a merit based immigration system, and a citizenship question on their census, and they require voters to show an ID before being allowed to vote. Is that crazy or what?

    Canada is different, some good, some not so much. Canada is a great neighbor and ally, but we do not always agree on things. In my dozen or so visits there, I find the people very nice, friendly and warm. Quebec may be something very different indeed.
