I have an I.Q of 162 but I have no intellectual curiosity nor do I read. Am I a smart "dumb" person ?

I have squandered any potential I may have had on trivial pursuits, gambling, drinking often to excess, playing video games to name a few. I have very little interest outside of my own hobbies ,which have been indicated above. I do not write very well and in person I am referred to as being aloof and selfish. When I speak I do so in a very formal way and often have been accused of being rather pretentious.

I know there are many "trolls" who create nonsensical posts merely for a reaction. I am not a troll and everything I have provided in this post is truthful. Would you consider me a smart person or because I do not take advantage of my intellectual ability, just an "avg Joe" ? Someone told me if I do not exercise my brain, all the intelligence I may have does not matter.

The average IQ score is 100. The average IQ for high school graduates is 105. It goes up to 115 for college graduates, and then 125 for PhD degree holders. Intelligence is the gatekeeper to opportunities. Having an open attitude and putting yourself in environments that encourage growth are part of finding good opportunities because having those two things help us come up with new ideas. And, just as importantly, they encourage us to implement those ideas. openness leads to higher creative potential. In other words, if are you curious about learning new ideas and discovering the world around you, successful scientists, artists, and professions that require creativity show higher openness levels. Work means examining a topic from various angles and being willing to try something new. But all the intelligence and openness to experiences won’t help if you don’t bother to apply them. This is where perseverance comes in.

You’re a troll. We can tell your IQ is much lower than this and hampered by your obvious mental defects.

The lady doth protest too much.

Folks, report troll posts like this.
