Travelling alone, some tips please ?

Britain hasn't officially left the EU yet. You don't need a visa.

Don't take cash. Use your debit card. Do call your bank. I have one bank that i don't have to notify and one that wants to know the exact dates I'm going to be in every country. You don't want to find that your bank has cut you off- but if they do, call them.

Airlines charge money to change your flights. You can do it if you're willing to pay the penalty.

First: yes, of course you can change flights, but there will be a charge for it. Contact the airline for information.

Second: Portugal and Spain both use the Euro, and it would be a good idea to get a hundred or so Euro in cash to have with you for incidentals.

Third: Yes, you should be able to access your own bank account for funds using your ATM card, but you should let your bank know that you will be in Portugal and Spain, and bring an emergency number to call in the event of any emergencies. You can also bring a Visa or MasterCard credit card, but be aware that small places might not have the machines.

Finally: Brexit is turning out to be a bit of a mess, and while you may have voted to leave, you actually haven't left yet. The current date for the UK to leave the EU is October 31 of this year, but that's not a given yet as the details are still not worked out. No visa is currently required. I don't think you need any vaccines at the moment.

london is very expensive bring thousands of pounds and a tough attitude as people are rude as hell here.

1. It depends on the terms and conditions of your flight. A cheap one probably can't be changed at all.

2. Hard to say. People will often say "use a debit card" but you could get a better exchange rate taking cash, and what about shops that don't take cards? And there isn't a Portuguese currency. They use the euro.

3. Tell your bank you're going away or they may block your card believing it's been stolen.

4. Brexit hasn't happened yet. Haven't you been reading the news? In any case, it doesn't necessarily mean EU countries will suddenly start imposing visas on us. There are plenty of countries that don't require British citizens to have a visa and that almost certainly won't change for EU countries just for a holiday.

5. There is no need for vaccinations. Continental Europe is not darkest Africa.

Firstly, would it be possible to change my flights after I have booked it ? Because I have decided I want to go to Spain from Lisbon, Portugal.

Thirdly, if I want need extra cash can I just use my Debit Card abroad or would I need to let my bank know that I am travelling abroad to Portugal for a week and then possibly to Spain ?

Finally, we left Brexit so would I need a Visa and what about Vaccines ?

There are no vaccinations required for entry into western Europe. However, everyone should be protected by all the routine vaccinations plus Hepatitis A & B.
