No, rather with the exception of Trump who for some reason continually harped on it, most Democrats were not expecting any form of revelation about collusion with the Russians. the reason for this, most of them knew Putin was too smart to trust Trump and provide assistance with his knowledge. What Mueller did find was that Russia did interfere with the last election and that interference was designed to support Trump's campaign and that members of Trump's campaign and his administration had contacts with Russia that violated US law. That is why there were numerous charges and both guilty pleas as well as findings of guilty. Although Trump and his supporters will be the last to admit it, fines levied against individuals and businesses related to them actually came close to covering the actual costs of the investigation.

All of my relatives who invest for a living say that Trump’s tariffs are horrible for the economy. They also say that Trump takes money from Deutsche Bank, which is a Russian bank. They say that the best hope for our economy is Joe Biden.
