Where in Germany should I visit?

Unfortunately I don't have much time there. I may go for longer next year.

    Take a cruise down the Rhine & look at the old castles !!!

    You did not write how much time you have. But it is worth visiting the Bavarian Alps in the south it is very special. If you land in Munich then it is the gateway to the Alps. If you are coming to Stuttgart or Freiburg it is recommended to visit the Black Forest and stay overnight in the town of Titisee.

    Hamburg. Definitely Hamburg. A big city with a great mix of green areas, cultural offers, huge nightlife offers, near to the water and many ways to go shopping.

    Hamburg is the place to be.
