my HDMI slots are filled. Security cams, extended laptop screen and Basic TV. Sometimes the Laptop s output will be GREEN SCREEN?

Update:

IT OCCURS completely with the laptop output and not the others. IT DOESN'T occur when in the win 10 DUAL DISPLAY MODE but SECONDARY DISPLAY only. [note ANSWERS READ 'DVR ISSUE' but im not using DVR]

Update 2:

i guess i am going through Comcast DVR TV BOX via HDMI but thats far removed from my problem i think?

Update 3:

the laptop seems to drop the complete video signal and i don't know why with good battery full power. i am using a 15' HDMI cable but was working years... the problem started out of nowhere

Update 4:

i send the screen view to watch on tv via hdmi wire. the laptop is plugged in to wall ac.

sometimes when changing from tv to computer screen i will get a green screen on tv.

that is all i am saying.

"good battery full power" "was working years". Who are you kidding? An extended display rather than a cloned one takes more power. That battery will not send a good signal over that long cable. Use AC adapter only or get a new battery.

That is all that can be guessed from no specific ages of any models of any makes, any resolutions sent to some HDTV. With so many unknowns, wasted question.

Source(s): Using my 2012 model Dell Inspiron R15 i3 Intel in AC power only with Win10 and extended display by wireless or HDMI cable to my 2006 year Samsung 46 inch series 8000 3D HDTV. Works fine.
