can't transfer a picture from documents to paint?

    First what is the original source and format of the original picture and

    how did you bring it into its' original document.

    Worst case: Open the document and screen capture

    the picture then paste into paint.

    (Prt Sc or Alt Prt Sc) to capture

    (Crtl-V) to paste it.

    That's right, you can't. You can import the image.
