Why are there so many Italian "princes"? Seems like every other Italian plumber on Long Island are "princes".?

Some Putz , born in Brooklyn can call himself whatever the hell he likes.......but there is only ONE remaining recognized LEGITIMATE heir to the House of Savoy, and that is Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy.......the only Grandson, of the last King of Italy.

Italy's constitution outlawed the Monarchy......but in general elections, there is STILL , to this day, a small fringe Group, called the Monarchy Party, whose sole goal is to restore the Monarchy.

and with the sheer chaos going on lately.............there are many who are starting to think they should vote for the return of the Monarchy next time.

If so......Prince Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy, would take his rightful place as KING.

Before 1860 there was no Italy it was divided into kingdoms with kings etc when Garibaldi united Italy only the Savoys were left as royalty the other mostly foreign nobility were chased out

These days good plumbers are worth a king's ransom and thay can call themselves the Prince of Persia, or Super Mario so long as they can fix a leak.

Yeah I know I'm an Italian /Australian and on my mother side there was some type of royalty, best answer I got. Italy wasn't united and was once full of city states, most had their own royals.
