    95 % around the mean

    goes from 2.5 % to 97.5

    P(z<Z) = 0.975  is Z = 1.96

    and by symmetry  Z = -1.96  is the bottom end

    so go back the the formula

    Z = (x- mean)/ standard deviation

    x-mean = Z*standard deviation

    x = mean + Z*standard deviation

    so the range is from

    x_low = 135  - 1.96*11 = 113.44

    x_high = 135 + 1.96*11 = 156.56

    so any number between these two values

    so 150

    123

    and 132 are all within these range.

    (159 and 106 are not)
