    It is answer 3/C. Always think about it this way - the root is the demoninator of the power, the exponent is the numerator of the power. So the third root of x^8 is really x^(8/3).

    The sixth root of y^5 is really y^(5/6), and because it is in the numerator of the fraction it is negative, so y^(-5/6)

  • x^(8/3) / y^(5/6) =>

    x^(8/3) * y^(-5/6)
