Talk to a pharmacist at the store you go to for this sort of over the counter med and see what he says

If it's an antihistamine that you need and you are allergic to Benadryl, which has the active ingredient diphenhydramine, then take another antihistamine with a different active ingredient. There are plenty in EVERY allergy section of every pharmacy.

Are you sure it's an antihistamine you need, and are you sure that the active ingredient of Benadryl is what you are allergic to? I would recommend Cetirizine Hydrochloride personally but there are yet others.People should really know the active ingredients of the drugs they take, not just the brand name.

There are other antihistamines. Talk to a pharmacist.
