    The law requiring tithing was part of an exclusive covenant between God and the nation of Israel. Exodus 19:3-8 Only the Israelites were bound by that law.

    The Bible states categorically that the sacrificial death of Jesus, in 33 C.E., blotted out, or abolished, the Law and with it the “commandment to collect tithes.” Colossians 2:13, 14

    the Bible also shows that Christ fulfilled the Law, and God brought it to an end; so Christians are not bound by its regulations.

    They do not tithe, nor are they under obligation to give any other contribution of a specified amount or at a particular time.

    Paul wrote to the Christian congregation in Corinth: Let each one do just as he has resolved in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion.

    Christians are not under the Law covenant given to Israel. Thus, they are not obliged to give a set amount to God.

    The Virgin Mary is the mother of all of us. It is good to honor her daily by reciting her rosary with care. She is Our Lady of Good Counsel and can advise one as to how much to donate to church.

    It speaks of each contributing to the support of the Church as their means allow.

    Korban is a LIE from satan.

    this teaching.

    we have the right to help our family as needed.

    this is done with love. (same means we give to the church)

    it is a love offering.

    The NOUN "offering".

    Korban = a gift, or an admittance-offering : from I. i. above. It is the present brought, to this day in the East, in order to secure an audience, or to see the face of the superior, and find access to his presence. Hence called to-day, "the face-offering". When the admittance has been secured and entrance has been obtained, then the real offering or present has to be given. Hence Korban is essentially an admittance-offering; securing the entree. Cp. the verb, Judg. 3:18. Cp. its use in the New Testament, Matt. 5:23; 8:4; 23:18. Mark 7:11. Heb. 5:1.

    this is what JESUS was talking about.

    read the prior verses first.......

    Mar 7:10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:

    the church tradition was WRONG. (prior verses)

    give to the church , and it is ok with GOD to allow your parents to starve.  (this is a lie from men)

    Mar 7:11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.

    Mar 7:12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

     Mar 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

    Matthew 15:3-6.  People were giving money to the temple so they would look like big shots; meanwhile letting their parents go without necessities.  They were breaking the commandment about honoring their parents.

    "The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Corinthians 9:6-7)

    What part of "compulsion" do you find in this passage of scripture?

    You're talking about Matthew chapter 15 verses 5 which I've quoted for you here.] But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

    [6] And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

    "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."
