We certainly should keep the field even.

China is NOT interested in fair trade and not because they're "bad".

In Chinese culture, losing face is worse than losing a leg.

If they had EVER let the US dominate in trade the way we've let them dominate?

Every Chinese person would have gone insane.

They'd have made Tienanmen square look like a wedding in the park.

We have to push, push, push. CONSTANTLY.

They're pushing and will never stop.

It's just how one does business with China.

Plastic rakes and spatulas , no problems but we really do need to put an end to dependence on China to meet our needs for essentials

    .

Edit: So let me get this right .Am I to understand that there are American citizens that actually want the US dependent on China ?

US doesn't do business with China. American people do business with China. Every time you purchase something made in china, or imported from China, you are doing business with ''China''. And the stuff made in China, or imported from China, are likely only assembled in China, but maybe even just the final touch is made in China while other parts of the product made from other places. World trade is not a black and white picture. There are dozens of countries all around the world involved in the creation of products that you purchase from your local Wall mart.

We need to bring our manufacturing and jobs back home.  Many of the numerous supplies that we now need are made in China. And China is not exporting or are price gouging.   If we don’t right this wrong now, then we deserve what we get in the future.

No, but we should become more demanding. We did business with the USSR throughout the entire cold war.

No, but we should. We have seen first-hand the dangers of allowing our nation to become overly dependent upon a communist tyrannical nation

Nope! We hardly make anything here now and Trump isn't bringing jobs and manufacturing back.
