Is it true people in Florida ride on alligators through orange groves to get to the beach everyday?

Gators are fresh water.  You need crocks to ride to the beach on. Something America lacks. Gators are best to go out on lakes on & fish from, or for gator bridges to cross the canals on. Gators don't like salt & sand.  Last I was in the Florida orange groves we found it best to go to the ditch's in them & rope a wild bore. Saddle it & ride around for the day. Much better riding than a gator is. On land. Gators are lazy on land. Just want to lay around in the sun for most. On land we often had to rope them & drag them back to the water to launch them to fish from. Lots of work to do.

No, that isn't true. Most of the orange groves are gone.

Only Florida residents are allowed to and they must have a class X designation on their drivers licenses.

No, they use Giant Anacondas. Way more fun and easier to ride.

No. Alligators don't go very far at a time. And humans don't ride them. And the alligators live inland, not at the beach.

You have obviously not been near any alligators.
