Taking laxatives when not constipated?

This is embarrassing for me to be asking, but whats the worse that can happen if i took laxatives when im not really constipated? Im asking because i feel like im not emptying my bowels completely. I have small urges to empty them, but i feel like i cant. So what if im not constipated and i still take laxatives? Will i still release something? [predigested food, digestive juices, etc??] Or will nothing happen?

You are going to damage yourself with taking them when not needed

It sounds like you need Laxido or Movicol to keep your intestinal motility going, doctors can prescribe it. Start eating steamed spinach and broccoli. Taking Aloe Vera tablets can be helpful too.  If a more sensible diet and exercise hasn't helped in a month then see your doctor anyway.

doing this occasionally is harmless.  doing it daily is not good for your guts. Try eating more vegetables and drink a little more water.
