Trump was almost certainly exposed to Arthur Godfrey. He was a GIANT in radio and TC. Only Godfrey could keep an audience through a ten minute soup commercial,.

Probably. Most people did. He had a very popular morning radio program before TV. It is a pretty good bet his mother listened while she took care of the kids. One time he fired somebody on the air for something. It was a big deal.
