From people who have been there, is cancer treatment easier 2nd or 3rd time around?
Went through treatment 16 years ago. (Small cell carcinoma and lobular cancer)
Have just been diagnosed with new primary cancer. (Squamous cell carcinoma)

It's mentally easier, and if you have survived once, you can feel more positive next time. It's an advantage to know routines for labs and scans and other tests. My only problem, the second time was that the doctor got quite upset with me being so calm.
I think that I coped better with the second cancer. Hope your experiences are as dull as mine. Always take a book.

I’ve only just seen this Tarkarri. I can’t offer any advice, but just want to say I’m sorry to hear this and I wish you the best and hope your treatment goes well x
