Is the Republican convention in the daytime because most Republicans are sundowners?

Because its the Republican convention and its on FOX.  You could have watched the Democrat one all day on your computer.  You would have learned a lot about the types of people that make up the Dem party.  Scary.

Most republican voters are working and know how they are going to cast their ballot.   This is more for the undecided  democrat voters who are siting at home collecting a government check
