Can I turn my closet into a room?
It's a good size walk-in closet. Can I turn it into a room for my 1 yr old? We live in a 1 bedroom and can't afford to move out this year so I'm thinking of ways to make it work.

No real reason why not, the only real consideration is ventilation, but if you leave the door open/off that may not be an issue.

LED lighting will brighten up the area. Bright white walls.
Assuming you are renting there isn’t much you can do with taking shelves and rods out.
You may want to take the door off so they don’t get caught inside.
