I had a ticket that won i took them up to the bar, the woman without using the scanner told me they didn't win keeping it is that rght?

She is not suppose to keep it.  It is your receipt that you spent money on stuff.  Some businesses keep all their receipts.   You MUST GET BACK THAT EXACT TICKET.   Chances are good YOU do not know which ticket it is so YOU LOST IT.  Now you know.   Some people will hold onto winning tickets and cash them in later for THEMSELVES.  Some have been caught doing this scam & gone to jail.

There is no reason for her to keep the ticket. In fact, since losing tickets can be used to offset winnings when doing your taxes, you should get it back. Just be sure it's the same ticket.

Since you're so mindbogglingly stupid to not have bothered to say which kind of 'ticket' you had, how can anyone guess what happened ?
