Why doesn’t apple make other phones? What will they do after they stop making iPhones?

I know apple has had other phones in the past, but obviously right now the only phone they have is the iPhone. Are they just gonna keep going up till we’re we’re at like the iPhone 30? When will they stop? I feel like if apple made other phones they would be able to continue their legacy after the iPhone is done being made. Android has like 100s of phones they can keep making money off of for a long tome, but will apple do after they stop making iPhones.

"I know apple has had other phones in the past"... um, no. Apple's only "phone" is the iPhone line. You initial assumption is incorrect.

Android is not a company. Android is an operating system developed by Google. The "100s of phones" are not made by Google (though they do make a few), but Google licenses the Android mobile Operating System to other companies (like Samsung, LG, etc.)

As an Apple shareholder and avid used of their products (Macintosh, AppleTV, iPad, AppleWatch, etc.) Apple will continue making iPhones for as long as they keep making money for Apple and the shareholders.

Tell us why you think Apple will stop making iPhones, when you think that will happen - and why... at this point, there is no reason to stop. Will it be iPhone 30 as you suggest? Maybe. Maybe not.

    The iPhone is a brand.

It doesn't matter what the technical progression of the current phones goes. If Apple decides on a whole new direction with their phones in the future, they could still call them iPhones, if they wish to.
