We can't see your artwork so we can't say if its good or bad.  

If you want to get into tattooing, I recommend practicing with watercolor paints.  The paint is very similar to tattoo ink, you can thin it with water and that makes it pastel but you didn't add any white to it, if that makes sense.  Using copic markers would be another good way to practice blending colors.
