Is it possible to get a lawyer if you’re broke?
It’s a silly question I know. But I’ve been march man acted by my cold parents and I would like to know if there’s a way I could hire someone to help me fight this case and pay gradually or after the services are completed
Btw it was for no strong reasons and now I’m missing out on my life because I’ve been stuck in a facility for a month now and they’re trying to add more time when I don’t need to be here because it’s bad for my mental health for one thing. I know you can’t understand what this situation feels like but please restrain from name calling like you’re in 1st grade. Thank you.

Yes. There are many attorneys who are REQUIRED to perform a certain number of pro bono (free to the client) legal matters every year in order to maintain their certification. These involve ACLU attorney, assigned legal counsel, Legal Aid, Elderly Abuse attorneys. Ask the facility for a recommendation.
Your parents cannot March Act you. A JUDGE made the decision. Whether or not your parents are "cold" is immaterial. Did you raise that defense at the time of the hearing?
If the situation is bad for your mental health the trained Psychiatrists and counsellors will realize that, and THEY can request your release.
Please don't assume that the educated people who care enough to answer questions on Yahoo have a first grade education OR that we have no experience with the March Act. If you are going to present yourself as defiant or difficult, you ae NOT going to get free legal representation.
