If you have a first date with someone where they don't say much ?

and then they kiss you before you leave how do I interpret that?

    It could be read several ways

    1- He was nervous

    2- Could have poor social cues

    3- He didn't enjoy the date, and was being friendly and polite by giving you a kiss on the cheek.

    Why not just ask him?

    That sounds like the date didn't go that well, it's weird that he kissed u... don't date a boring guy who has nothing to say trust me I did once and it was crap

    Really really bad conversationalist

    Really really nervous 

    Likes you and enjoyed the date is a given -
