Yes, villagers tried to fight off the other Africans that attacked their villages to capture people to trade to the slave traders. But they welcomed the slave traders, they were waiting for the slave traders to arrive so they could trade their captured slaves for European goods.

No. Most villagers approved of slavery, even selling their sons and daughters. A few mouths less to feed.... if you cannot even feed yourself. Can't compare today with 200+ years ago.
Peace.

Villages in the various countries in Africa enslaved Africans from other vilages, when they were done with them they killed them, then realised they could sell them on first t Arab slave traders, then to European slave traders instead of killing them........ so it was part of the African way of live for many decades/centuries well before outside slave traders were involved

No doubt there were scattered villages who managed to fight off the slave raiders and the enemy tribes taking prisoners to present to the Arabs and Europeans as slaves, but you can't say exact where.
However the whole country of Ethiopia (Abyssinia) fought of the slave traders and after it's founding 1822 by returned freed slaves from the Americas I think Liberia did too.
Further, the slave raiders never got much into interior Southern Africa (too far from the sea/ no rivers) and the Zulu confederation there fought off everyone.

Slavery is voluntary. Blacks that resisted were killed so were whites that resisted at different points in time. I would guess the black slaves were also coerced into cooperation with nicer clothes, housing, and access to sex with their women in nicer housing and with better food and medical care if they did not opt to be killed in exchange for picking cotton full time. I mean the Congo at the time was like today. Some opt to stay living in a tribe and some want to leave and live in Nigerian cities or America. This isn't as simple a subject as made to seem. Africa at the time did not have anything Europe or the US did. On top of that this is only taught in US history. Blacks were already slaves in Eygpt, Morroco, Rome, Persia, and India. Blacks were also slaves in other black tribes. Attractive black women were sold as sex slaves in Rome most likely to join the white sex slaves like Charlie Supremacy lesbian scene.
