    Dirt has been there for 3 billion years give or take a  few million.  How is your Termite situation.  Would go for a plastic like Linoleum.

    I've purchased the lesser expensive self-sticking vinyl tiles and have had them last over 10 years before replacing them. They're easy to install and usually just lay easily over existing flooring.

    how about dirt after all tents have them and so do log and old cabins ..

    Hard pressed sands cured with limestone as in old forts and old buildings, old is gold.

    Power-floated screed. If you want it to look pretty, a resin floor paint.

    Class 4 tile from the overflow store you can't wear it out, personally I like my floors a bit warmer like Hickory or Maple, but hard to find on the cheap
