What color is my German shepherd?

I’ve heard there’s a few diff colors and I can’t remember the names but mine is just a pup

    Black and tan, standard markings.  He is BEAUTIFULLY marked with the beige "collar."  Mine is very similar.

    desription is  A large ,muscular dog with a slighty ,elongated body ,long muzzle and long ,,bushy tail, the ears are large ,triangular and erect .the coat is dense, and may be short or long .and is typically can be black and tan in color .white german shephers are sometimes regarded as a distinct breed. 

    German shepherd breed.  are highly intelligent, responsive and versatile,the german shepherd dogs  or Alsatian ,is probably amongst the most familar and popular of all dog breeds . it originated in germany as a herding dog,but has since gone on to be employed worldwide by various police and miltary forces ,used for search and rescue ,as a  guard dog, a guide dog for the blinds and disabities ,working with people who are on wheelchairs, and a family companion. it excels at oedience and agility trials.and also as a show dog, it was first shown in 1882 ,and for many years it was exhibited in its various forms ,including white coated and long haired,but today only the short haired german shepherd is generally accepted at dog shows and white is typically regarded as a dispualifying factor .however ,whilst white german shepherds became increaslingly uncommon in Europe ,they continued to proliferate in North America ,and some authorities now recognized them as a distinct breed,designated as either the American white shepherd,or simply as the white shepherd.
