Have you ever seen/been on the receiving end or worked with someone who was in a job that was totally wrong for them?
I've had two customer service jobs, that catered to a high migrant base, that was highly known. These two people I worked with were ugly racists, who couldn't stand migrants! I used to cringe with embarrassment just being in the room with one of these people watching how rude she was to migrant enquiries. Be a racist if you want to be - but what kind of a fool accepts a job knowing they have to deal AND help the people they dislike????
How lucky those kids are that you're around STARSEED! Your staff is not only worse than mine, but very dangerous!!
BTW - After I left that job, I heard later, that really ugly racist was sacked. I was glad to see management grow some and let decency dictate how they ran their business . .
Whatever 'environment' a person is subjected to, Anon, this person has a professional OBLIGATION to her employer to treat their customer's RESPECTFULLY!! As I said in my original question, if you're like that, what kind of a fool accepts a job dealing with people they 'hate'??

Yes I've been in this situation before. I'm sorry about what happened to you.
I work at a daycare. There is this lady there who just can't stand children. She's in her early 30s and has kids of her own. She often gets frustrated and angry. Sometimes I have to tell her to calm down and go get a break so I can deal with the children. I always keep an eye out for her in case she tries to hurt the child. I still don't understand why she's there if she can't stand toddlers. She should find something else to do.

Racism is not inborn, it is created through exposure in one’s environment. If you are not part of the solution you’re part of the problem.Stop being a racist yourself, all lives matter
