Clown Pleco in 20 gallon ?

I have seen most websites say you can keep them in a 20 gallon but I want to check with people who have experience. The only other fish in the tank is a betta. I really want one but I also want the best for the fish. If not, any other plecos for a 20 gallon?

Yes an actual clown pleco is a very small little fish not growing more then 3 inches long.  I had one for 11 years in a 55 gallon that was not more then one inch at the end of his tiny life.  They require driftwood and sinking foods. The problem is if you get a fish that was miss identified.  But if a fish grows too big, that is a bridge to cross when you get to it.

There are other dwarf pleco that are very small, but some of them can cost you 100 bucks. like the zebra pleco.
