    The single caliper piston applies pressure to the inboard and outboard brake pads. The calipers are mounted on slide pins. If you can't figure this out I sure hope you are not thinking about trying to be a mechanic.

    Wow?? The outboard shoe is actually applied by the action of the inboard piston acting inversely against the caliper.
