    Republicans are afraid to cross Trump and risk losing the base, they are only concerned about their own re-election, and not their integrity.

    He pretty much did that in his own conservative way already, by telling Trump that he, Pence, could not overthrow the election results.

    Pence is the next Walter Mondale.  He'll try to make a comeback after 4 years, only to be trounced again.
