So what is wrong with using tear gas and rubber bullets?

Update:

Only the ones which attack our democracy and try to take over the democratic process set out in the constitution.

    Interfering in the tallying of an election is a crime those people are lucky that they're not going to prison for it

    Against every riot, or only ones you disagree with? 

    I have no problem putting down all insurrection with strong and decisive measure, as long as all are treated using consistent criteria.
