Why Mazda 929 is very rare car?

I remembered past 1990s to 2000s, there is many on road, many for sale.

People seem like them. I thought about getting one. I think their looks style is totally superb. From seeing photo, it's looked roomy.

But when searching, it very hard to find? How they ride like? How drive like?

They are just an upscale 626. Good cars, just not a lot were sold which is why they did not continue the line.

A 626 is more common and just as good.

The HD and HE platform 929/Sentia had a LOT of competition like the Toyota Avalon and Nissan Maxima in the 90s. Completely different car than the GD/GE model 626/Cappella, 929 is RWD, 626 is FWD.

They are all in junkyards now.  Look for another car.  Maybe a 98 Camry.

They stopped making that model in the mid to late 1990s, nothing really replaced the 929, they started concentrating on making SUVs after that.

They have the Mazda 3 and the 626 but nothing that looks as good as the 929, if you can find one in good condition for a reasonable price it may be a good investment, especially the 2 door coupe.
