Mental health and coronavirus?

In a normal year I enjoy being at home but I do the occassional holiday, day trip perhaps by train, see friends, family and pub meals. Since covid 19 it feels like one continuous cycle of work, eat, sleep repeat.. I feel in myself like i'm more tired than normal, sleeping longer and a little de-motivated. I don't believe it's depression just the never end cycle of the same thing.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Yes I feel exactly the same!  It’s horrible.  I already suffered with anxiety and depression before Covid and Covid has just made it worse.  Before I could jump in my car and go and do something to try and take my mind off things but now I’m left with even more time to sit and overthink everything.  It’s horrible!  It’s the same routine day in and day out and it’s monotonous - I hate it and it doesn’t look like it’s ending anytime soon!  Don’t worry, you’re not alone, plenty of people are sick and tired of the whole thing.  Some people actually make it worse though with their whole judgemental attitude - I hate shopping at the moment as I find people are much more rude than usual and with Covid making me feel even more sensitive about things sometimes it can really ruin my day and make me feel worse.  I hate going out when I have to.  I feel better sometimes being safe indoors.

Undoubtedly during this pandemic the mental health of many people has been affected. There are no family trips, weekend plans, celebrating with friends etc. But adopting this new normal is the need of the hour, we should encourage people to pursue some online courses of their interest or indulge in some leisure time activities and many more, so that the people can come out of depression.

One thing we've learned in the past year about this virus is that sniveling and whining about being lonely and depressed is very unhelpful.

Yes and its another reason why i believe these lock downs are more dangerous than the virus itself

just think it could be worse, this has been my life for 12 years since I became serious ill.  I struggle to eat and bathe.  I struggle just to get out for groceries and sit outside for a couple hours.  You're life will go back to normal soon.  mine won't
