Why are Mexicans in Chicago so much nicer than ones in Oregon ?

I grew up in Oregon and every time we would play a team in school sports that was either from Woodburn or Hillsboro the Mexicans seemed really rude like they always wanted to pick a fight or something and I grew up being racist for that reason, but I currently live in chicago a city with a large Hispanic population and most of the ones here are really nice why is that? 

Update:

Gypsy fish every time we played a white team  they never literally tried to pick a fist fight with us and got ejected from the game for it!

    Oh? I live in Oregon, near Hood River, and most of the folks on my street are either from Mexico or are second/third generation Mexican Americans. Every one of them, as I have gotten to know them, is a pretty darned decent human being. Maybe you were just unlucky in your hometown?

    Maybe because you're not trying to whip the Chicagoans in a sport? Isn't it normal for guys to insult and taunt the opposing team?
