It is when Cyrus reads that stupid article on that [WEBSITE] that says to SPAM Yahoo instead of actually looking up the term - which, by the way would have taken less time and gotten better answers.
But Cyrus loves abuse and is not interested in the answer, so here we are, making Cyrus happy again.

If you have ever done a search on Google or Yahoo, you usually get hundreds of results. Usually you pick the top or one of the top of pages as where you go. You do not go 5 pages down in the search results and pick a link from there.
SEO is methods of getting your page to show up as high as possible in searches. It involves figuring out what Google, Yahoo and others look at when ranking pages and designing your page to get the highest possible rank.
It involves things like "metages", which are labels you can give your page that the search engines read to know what you claim your page is about, repeating key phrases within the text of the page, and other techniques.
