Does putting the plug in the sink raise room temperature?
It's only going to be marginal, if anything, l guess, but l often wonder.

The sink drain is blocked by the water in the P trap. So, it is not an open vent. Interior walls also vent through the electrical outlets. Insulating interior walls is a good idea on new construction. May have some sound deadening properties, too.
