When was the last time you went on holiday abroad and where did you go to?

Sadly, I've never been abroad.  However, my mother mentioned visiting Canada long ago.  While she was there, she saw some Mounties.  Also, she went shopping and bought some tiny Beatrice Potter books, which I still have.  This was long ago. So, nobody gave her a hard time for crossing the Canadian border.  

Also, when she was a child, she visited Panama during the 1930's.  She took a ride on a ship across its famous canal.  If you do a Youtube search for a 1930's film that shows this sort of journey, you'll see what my mother saw many years ago.  

I was in the Netherlands in 2019. We didn't travel last year.

Norway in 2019 .

In January, 2020 I went on a cruise that stopped at various islands and then went through the Panama Canal. That was fascinating! One of my friend got very sick after the cruise, and his doctor thinks it's very possible that he got COVID from the other passengers, many of whom were from other countries. But the rest of us didn't get sick.

It was in 2006, to Majorca, for my birthday early in the year. It was warmer than we expected so we had to buy lighter clothes to wear.
